How Do You Make Decisions?

BLOG

WE ALL HAVE AN INNER VOICE, BUT IT IS NOT ONE OF REASON OR LOGIC… IT IS THE VOICE OF GUIDANCE.

This voice may not make sense to anyone else, but it is there to help us recognize and nurture the thoughts that build dreams of our very own.

I’ve heard it said that some people live ninety years… and others live one year, ninety times. The difference? The ones truly living are the ones living their dreams. They’ve made decisions—moment by moment, day by day—that aligned with their vision. And here’s the truth: we are all capable of living our dream lives. It starts the moment we open ourselves to greater possibilities and recognize the opportunities already around us.

Most of us have been trained to make decisions based on our current conditions—what we can see, hear, touch, or measure. But when we rely solely on the five senses, we end up limiting what’s possible. Our conditions become constraints.

But there’s another way.

When we make decisions not just with logic, but with intuition, imagination, and perception, we begin to access a deeper knowing—one that reveals our heart’s true desires. The dreams that bring joy, meaning, and expansion start to come into view. This way of seeing—the higher way—leads to better choices, and better choices lead to better outcomes.

We all have an inner voice—not the voice of logic, but the voice of guidance. It may not always make sense to others, but it will always lead us closer to the life that’s meant for us… if we’re brave enough to listen. It helps us recognize and nurture the thoughts that give birth to our dreams.

The foundation of dream building is this:
The power within you is far greater than any circumstance around you.
Greater than your history. Greater than your present. And certainly greater than any obstacle in your path.

Now, here’s where decision-making becomes key:
Every moment, we are either thinking thoughts that move us toward our dream—or thoughts that move us away from it. It’s that simple. And we can learn to choose thoughts that serve the life we want instead of reinforcing the life we’re trying to move beyond.

This is a two-step process:

Step One: Release condition-based thinking.
If we focus on what we don’t want—like, “I hope I don’t eat that pizza”—we end up reinforcing the very thing we’re trying to avoid. Our energy flows where our attention goes.

Step Two: Choose what you do want, regardless of current conditions.
So instead of resisting the pizza, focus on the fresh, vibrant salad you’re going to enjoy. The more you align your thoughts with the version of you who’s healthy and empowered, the more naturally your decisions follow. This is true—even if you work in a pizza parlor!

Every day, every thought, every choice is a step on the path. You are the author. Your past does not dictate your future. And your current conditions do not have the final word.

So let today be the day you decide to live from your vision. Fill your mind with what you want to be, do, create, and give. Direct your thoughts on purpose. Make your decisions in service of your dreams.

And then… watch the outcomes shift.

Because good decision-making—vision-aligned decision-making—is how dream lives are built.rming challenges into opportunities for growth.
